Mumbai Marathon 2009

The Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon, Asia's Largest and Richest Marathon, has completed its sixth edition successfully on January 18, 2009.

Although I wanted to participate in it this time, but couldn't register for the event. I got to know that the registrations were closed in August only, a fact that speaks voluminously about the popularity of this event.

Anyway, I decided to be a part of the event as a spectator. I wanted to write about the event, but couldn't put everything into words. So, instead, I decided to upload some 80-odd snaps of the event with some description. As they say, a picture speaks louder than words (or was it something else).
